| The purpose of the Cornerstone Career Network (CCN) is to support individuals in career transition and individuals who seek career advancement. | |
| We, as participants of the CCN, agree to motivate and inspire individuals in a safe, secure environment while maintaining confidentiality at all times. | |
| Our objective is to grow in our relationship with the LORD God during a time of unemployment and help each other secure employment. Participants will journey together to better understand dependence on the LORD God and also evaluate and provide constructive critique in a supportive environment following review of documents used in the job search process. Documents include resumes, marketing plans and cover letters. Each member may use feedback received, as appropriate, and accept full responsibility for the outcome. | |
| Members are encouraged to share previous week's accomplishments, setbacks, frustrations and address challenges. Additionally, participants are asked to share what they have learned the previous week that may be useful to the team. Lastly, members will be asked to share their respective agenda - focused set of tasks - for the following week as well as enlist advice if needed. | |
| Participants are asked to listen and become knowledgeable of each others abilities and strengths to enlist a deeper understanding of career objectives with the ultimate goal of sharing job leads and networking contacts to aid in a productive job search. | |
